What can I do in Histou?
Explore figures, books, and ideas through narrated stories, lessons, quotes, and quizzes. Reflect with affirmations and guided reflections, or ask questions through AI text conversations and voice calls. Available activities vary by title and subscription.
Are the conversations real historical recordings?
No. Conversations and voices are AI-generated interpretations, not recordings or authentic statements by the people portrayed. They can make mistakes. Use Histou to explore and reflect, and check important facts against reliable sources.
What is free, and what requires a subscription?
Histou is free to download, with limited free access. Subscriptions unlock additional content and features. Conversations and voice calls are subject to your plan’s allowances; voice access is not unlimited. Current prices, benefits, and limits are shown in the app before you subscribe.
Where can I download it?
Histou is available on the App Store for compatible iPhone, iPad, and Apple silicon Mac devices. Android is currently in testing; a public download link will appear here when it is available.
Which languages can I use?
English is available publicly. Additional original-language libraries are being developed and tested. Language access is being rolled out gradually, so availability can differ between accounts.
How is my information used?
